Free screenings at Deichman Bjørvika
Throughout January, February, and March, we are organizing three free screenings of highlights from last year's festival, in collaboration with Deichman Bjørvika. You will get a chance to revisit last year's audience favorites The Teacher, Goodbye Julia, and Four Daughters.
The Teacher
First up is the opening film and Audience Award winner of the 2024 Arab Film Days, The Teacher. The film is a drama set against a political backdrop. It follows a Palestinian teacher in the occupied West Bank, who is deeply involved in resistance while also trying to support the younger generation.

Goodbye Julia
In February, we will show the Sudanese feature film Goodbye Julia, where the lives of two women from different parts of Sudan intertwine after a dramatic event. This intense drama explores religion, prejudices, gender roles, and war, set against the backdrop of Sudan's division.

Four Daughters
In March, we will screen the Oscar-nominated film Four Daughters. The film explores memory, sisterhood, and radicalization within a Tunisian family. Through its creative use of the documentary format, Four Daughters was one of last year's best films.
