Learn more about the region through Pub Talks

During the festival, we will be joined by several experts on the region, including Hilde Henriksen Waage and Jørgen Jensehaugen, who will give short talks connected to films in the programme. All Pub Talks are in Norwegian.

Insight and historical knowledge are a good starting point for a more peaceful world. During the festival, we organise Pub Talks with the aim of learning more about the Arabic-speaking countries. Ahead of selected screenings, experts are invited to give short introductions and provide context for the films.

The Pub Talks are free. You do not need a ticket to a film to attend, and the bar will be open.
