We follow a family of orange growers in Jaffa, where their middle-class life is gradually replaced by increasingly precarious circumstances as they flee to the West Bank. In 1967, Israel tightens its grip even further, and the uprising in 1988 ends in a new tragedy for the family. High production values, strong performances, and a compelling narrative drive make this Palestinian-American filmmaker’s third feature a powerful and genuinely important historical drama. 

Pub Talks: The Oslo Accords and Norway's Role

Ahead of the screening of ALL THAT'S LEFT OF YOU on Friday, March 20 there will be a conversation between Hilde Henriksen Waage, one of the most prominent scholars on the Middle East in Norway, and Journalist Fredrik Græsvik. They will talk about Waage's extensive research on the Oslo Accords.

The conversation starts at 17.15 and will be in Norwegian.

Reading and Book Signing with Rima Iraki

Before the film on Saturday, March 21, Rima Iraki will read from her book Flukten fra Palestina – min norsk-palestinske familiehistorie. Iraki will also be present for a book signing before and after the screening. 

The reading will be in Norwegian.

Welcome to a free embroidery workshop with a practical introduction to traditional Palestinian cross-stitch embroidery (tatreez fallahi). The session also includes a talk about identity, belonging, and resistance.
