Pub Talks: The Oslo Accords and Norway's Role
Ahead of the screening of ALL THAT'S LEFT OF YOU on Friday, March 20 there will be a mini lecture by Hilde Henriksen Waage, one of the most prominent scholars on the Middle East in Norway. She will tell about her extensive research on the Oslo Accords.
Waage has researched the topic for close to 20 years, particularly focusing on Norway's involvement and the actors operating behind the scenes. In her work, she has uncovered significant gaps in the archival material related to the Oslo Accords and has been critical of how parts of the process have been documented and presented in retrospect. These issues have once again become relevant in light of the recent revelations concerning Terje Rød-Larsen and Mona Juul.
