Humour and Resistance – Stand-Up for the World
On Friday, 20.03 at 20:15, there will be a conversation ahead of the documentary COEXISTENCE MY ASS. Comedian Hani Hussein will speak with commentator and public debater Rania Iraki about the role of humour in political conflicts, the space for satire in public discourse, and how comedians can challenge power and established narratives.
Wine Tasting
On Saturday 21.03 at 16:00, you can join a wine tasting in Vikakjelleren.
Wine from the Arab world – bold, spicy and full of personality – just like the films we screen. Each sip is a small celebration in the glass, and a perfect way to awaken the senses before the film.
Tatreez & Tea – Palestinian Embroidery Workshop
On Sunday, 22.03 at 13:30, you can learn traditional Palestinian cross-stitch embroidery in Vikakjelleren. There will also be a talk about identity, belonging, and resistance.
