Arab film days 2020 is cancelled

Dear audience.

In connection with the Directorate of Health's decision on March 12 to cancel all cultural events, we are canceling Arab Film Days 2020, which was to be held next week. It is with a heavy heart that we have to cancel a program we were looking forward to share with you, but the most important thing is to limit the spread of Covid-19 and protect the population.

Our focus now is to see if it will be possible to postpone this year's Arab Film Days. As soon as we confirm new dates we will share the information with the audience. We are currently looking at Films from the South 2020 as a possible venue to screen the program.

For those who have a festival pass/ full festival ticket:

We are working to find a solution so that you can use the festival pass in case of postponement of the festival program. We ask for patience to resolve this situation.

We will send out information via email to everyone who has purchased festival passes through Nordisk Film Kino's website as soon as possible. Please contact us if you do not receive such an email by Friday, March 20.

For those who have purchased single tickets:

Nordisk Film Kino gives a refund to everyone who has purchased single tickets for screenings at their cinemas. This also applies to screenings related to Arab Film Days. See Nordisk Film Kino's website for more information.

Have you purchased tickets for screenings at Vega Scene? See Vega Scene’s website for more information.

Have you purchased tickets for screenings at Cinemateket? See Cinemateket's website for more information.

We were all looking forward to Arab Film Days this year, and we promise to come back stronger!
