Tamer Ruggli
Tamer Ruggli (b. 1986) is a Swiss-Egyptian filmmaker. He was educated at the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (ECAL) and later at the New York Film Academy. He has made several short films that have been shown at festivals, such as the Palm Springs International ShortFest and Outfest Los Angeles. Back To Alexandria (2022) is Ruggli's first feature film.
Ruggli will be present for a Q&A after the screenings of BACK TO ALEXANDRIA on Thursday, April 11, at 18:30 in Screen 3 at Vika Kino and Friday, April 12, at 18:45 in Screen 3. He will also give an introduction to the screening on Saturday at 21:00 in Screen 1.
