Mohamed Jabaly
Mohamed Jabaly (b. 1989) is a Palestinian filmmaker and artist from Gaza City who moved to Norway in 2014. Mohamed's first feature-length documentary, Ambulance, was shown at several of the world's largest film festivals. The film won several awards, including One World Media for Best Feature Documentary at BAFTA (2017), BBC Arabic Young Journalist Award, Sun Bird Award at Days of Cinema in Palestine, FIPA D’or Award, and Jury Award for Best Documentary Film at FIPA, Biarritz, France 2017. Mohamed holds a BA in Moving Images from Nordland Film & Art College in Northern Norway. His latest film, Life is Beautiful, premiered at IDFA, winning the Best Director award.
