THE TEACHER wins the audience award.

Palestinian THE TEACHER, directed by Farah Nabulsi, won the audience award at Arab Film Days this year.

The film opened this year's festival and is a human drama set in a political landscape. It follows a Palestinian teacher in the occupied West Bank who is deeply engaged in the resistance fight while trying to support the younger generation. This is a highly topical film about the future of Palestine.

One of the audience members who voted for the audience award will win a DUO membership at the Astrup Fearnley Museum. The winner will be contacted by email.
