A harrowing account based on true events, and one of the most important films of the year, about six-year-old Hind Rajab, who was brutally murdered by the Israeli military.

On 29 January 2024, the Red Crescent in Palestine received an emergency call. A six-year-old girl was trapped inside a car under fire. While the Red Crescent volunteers kept her on the line, they did everything they could to dispatch an ambulance that might reach her in time. Her name was Hind Rajab.

The film is based on the real audio recording of Hind Rajab’s call to the emergency services. Director Kaouther Ben Hania has recreated the events from the perspective of the offices of the Palestinian Red Crescent.

The film sparked strong reactions at the Venice Film Festival and is widely regarded as one of the year's most important films.
