In Between tells a fresh story about three very different women sharing an apartment in Tel Aviv. The film brings up taboos and steps on traditional values, with a focus on the everyday life of the women, who are slowly turning away from traditions in order to life the way they want to live it.

Laila and Salma are sharing an apartment. They are young, hip and secular. Laila is a lawyer by day and parties all night, while Salma is a bartender, DJ and an art gallery assistant. She is also lesbian. Her family is completely unaware of this, as they try to hook her up with a good Christian boy from their village. The duo becomes a trio when the IT student Nour moves in, bringing along a fiancé with super conservative values. All three want personal freedom, but trying to balance their secular life with the encroaching traditional lives of their families turns out to be quite difficult.
