Muhammad - The Last Prophet
Stories about Jesus and Moses are well known to almost everyone, but you may not have heard the exciting story about Prophet Muhammad and Islam’s origin? Muhammad himself is never depicted, and we experience him through first-person point of view shots and other people’s interaction with him. The film follows Muhammad’s first years as a prophet, through Islam’s turbulent beginning 1400 years ago. Mecca, the prophet’s place of birth, is ruled by covetous men from the Quraysh-clan. In a cave outside the city, Muhammad receives a revelation from Gabriel, who gives him the task to spread the word about Islam and the one and only God. This is not accepted by everyone, and Muhammad is forced to leave Mecca with his followers. Muhammad – the Last Prophet is a funny film that grown up’s as well as children can learn a lot from. CH
